ReplyDeleteNow, I just found the Riverside Shack (Eastmarch area #18) and killed the bear. It now says cleared on my map. I hope that now means I can use it as a makeshift house until I can join the thieves guild and fence my goods before I pay my bounty in Whiterun and get into the main quest. It was worth is for a full set of light elven armor!

ReplyDeleteCould you possibly mark which are special dungeons like dwarven ruins and such? I mention the ruins mainly because I'm trying to find dwarven metal but can barely find any at all

ReplyDeleteHey guys. I'm currently at Arcwind points where I've killed 2 dragons and I want to enter the dungeon (at least I guess there's a dungeon), but can't find the entrance, where is the entrance if there is one?
ReplyDeleteWhiterun Imperial Camp is not where you put it. I've been looking for it all around the marker but still can't find it.
ReplyDelete@above - Whiterun Imperial Camp MAY be a little south of where I placed it, but it's definitely there.
ReplyDeleteAlso, about Dead Mens Respite, the ghost should open the door for you after you defeat the dungeon boss. It's a wave-based scenario. Once this is done, follow the ghost to the locked door. He will open it.

wow so it to 2 hours of searching the internet to find that redbelly mine is in shor's stone. someone would think that thats something they should mention when giving directions to a place not just say its north of riften. It doesnt appear on map as a sign its just in the town.

ReplyDeleteApparently the only place you can mine quicksilver is 'quicksilver mine'. It's supposed to be northwest of Dawnstar but I've been around the whole area and nothing. Also It's not on your list above, any ideas where it is?

Can someone list off which locations are dragon locations? like by name? im trying to collect souls, bones, and scales atm. any help would be greatly appreciated as so far i am just running around mountaintops looking and doing alright actually

It’s due east of Witch Mist Swamp, about three-quarters of the way to the mountains that form the eastern edge of the map and more or less directly north of Riften. You’ll know you’re on the right track when you see a series of crumbled stone arches along faded stairways. The storehouse doesn’t contain active threats like dwarven automata, only dozens of Dwemer Metal Ingots. You’ll also find a nice enchanted axe and some Expert-level locks that need to be picked to get at it all. Travel light so you’ll have lots of room to tote your finds home!"

thanks so much. really helpfull. ive got something to add to the unique armor section. randomly ran into a hard boss when searching for dragons and he dropped a mask that reduces vendor costs 20%, allows you to breathe underwater and you can carry 20 more. its called volsung

ReplyDeletethere is a ebony mine southeast of windhelm that forms part of an orc camp. you can get to the mine wihtout hassle. There is HORDS of ebony veins

ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you had finished yet or not? I added your primary locations that totaled 330 but you doubled up 4 the bullet points so, 334 is what im getting from your map. Problem is on my skyrim character it says - Locations Discovered: 335 ... trying to find the total in the game , just wondering what your game plan is. I ll look through your map and try to find the one your missing err... yeah I checked some of the harder ones which you have so I ll begin one by one
ReplyDeleteFound it..... that was brutal btw, musta been a beoch to make this all in the first place. Anyways the location is guild related and wont appear unless you join the theives guild. Looks like a landmark icon and is almost on top of Riften (a hair to the southeast) titled: Thieves Guild. . So im leaning towards 332 being the max w/o doing anything?+ 2 main quest related locations and this one so, I guess anymore discovered will most likely be quest related.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the map. It's the only one I use. My only beef with it is the same problem I have with all maps for games and that is... it would be better to list locations in a region by alphabetical order while keeping the same number system. That way when looking for a location that begins with "H" for instance, I would scroll down to "H" to find it. Instead I need to look at 1-30 pointless locations before I find what I'm looking for. Other than that all I have is thanks.

Lolololol this game isn't as big as Daggerfall (Elder Scrolls 2 - came out in like the mid 90s). Skyrim and Cyrodiil are both about 16 square miles, Morrowind's about 10.
ReplyDeleteDaggerfall is about.... oh I dunno.... 450,000 square miles. Almost two times the size of Great Britain. But that's fine because Skyrim is way more fun and it's just the best thing in the world.

DeleteI have 341 locations discovered to date which means you're missing about 6 or more unless you've updated since. 403 hours played with 886,000 gold. Out of curiosity how many square miles does Skyrim have (how do you calculate it) and is this the biggest game in area made or are there larger ones? Someone should do a list of the top ones. Skyrim rocks but there are so many pointless tasks I'm dizzy from running around everywhere.

ReplyDeleteit not even close to the largest. although it is VERY big. the largest in the elder scrolls series (possibly the largest) is Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. 472.000 kilometers. twice the size of great britain.
