While it may seem that getting married should be a super simple process (take Fable 3 for example), it's actually not. There are quite a few steps that you will have to take to make sure that your bonds of matrimony are valid.
Listed below is a brief guide on how to get married, along with a list of every character available to share your vows with. Isn't marriage beautiful?
Steps to get married:
1) Head to Riften and check the 'Bee and Barb Tavern' or the 'Temple of Mara'
2) Once there, speak with Maramal the Priest.
3) Ask for more information about the 'Temple of Mara'
4) Now ask for marriage works
5) Purchase and 'Amulet of Mara' for 200 gold pieces
6) Wear the necklace via the 'Apparel' menu
7) Now that you are wearing this, find someone from the list below that you want to marry
8) Once they show interest, say 'yes' and go speak to Maramal the Priest again
9) Attend your wedding the following day
10) Choose which house you want to live in and congratulations!

You can marry any one of those on that list, so long as you have the amulet of Mara; and have either done quest for the the NPC you wish to marry, or just hired them for 500 gold. lol Yea I married Onmund,he was the only strong mage I saw, and I wanted a mage with my warrior guy. They're not really married its just an intense bromance- ROFL

ReplyDeleteOkay, im having an issue. I'm trying to marry vorstag, but everytime i enter Mara's Temple at when it says to attend your wedding it says i failed! I standed there outside the temple waiting for the right time to go in, but it doesnt work! I've been trying to get it right for hours, but it's just not working, i think i may need to start from my last save and go forward from there. Vorstags really cute and i dont want my firehappy khajiit mage to be a sad kitty for the rest of his life....
