    1. Monetization is necessary for gaming. It's the means to which developers gain their money that is the issue. Without revenue, there would be no games.

      It's not that "monetization" is bad (ex: buying a $60 game), it's that making it free-to-play while asking for a constant revenue stream to continue playing said game is simply disgusting.

      In my opinion anyway.
