'PSN Day 1 Digital' Program Announced

Sony Computer Entertainment America announced today that they will are rolling out a new way to purchase games on release day. 

Deemed the 'PSN Day 1 Digital' program (clever, right?), gamers will be able to download full retail releases on release day, with select titles receiving a 10% discount for PS+ subscribers.

This will begin on October 2nd, with Resident Evil 6 being the first game available.
