The response critics have had to Resident Evil 6 has been strange to say the least. While my review hasn't been posted yet (I'm only through 2 of the 4 campaigns), I've said many times that it's an absolute blast.
Turns out I'm not alone.
Resident Evil 6 is a major hit in Japan. So much in fact that it almost double the sales that Resident Evil 5 received in the same amount of time (727,854 copies compared to 380,483).
This is only the Playstation 3 version as well as the Xbox 360 isn't popular in Japan, and Media Create - the site that tracked these stats - only tracks Playstation 3 sales.
I highly recommend playing Resident Evil 6. Honestly.
