It's not all perfect though. They did release info about pre-orders and DLC for the game. Who the hell, in their marketing team, agreed to this? Anyway, the game is to be set in Kyrat an untamed region og the Himalayas where you will go up against an altogether not okay king bloke.
Ubisoft released this today:
Taking a sharp turn away from the lush island jungles of the top-rated Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4 is set in Kyrat, an untamed region currently ruled by a despotic self-appointed king. But don’t be lulled into a false sense of security by the achingly beautiful views; Kyrat is a wild land full of perils. Once again, players will be able to craft their own stories as they travel through this exotic open world teeming with wildlife – using their wits along with an assortment of powerful weapons and diverse vehicles.
To be honest, I am not overly impressed with the artwork that we have been shown so far, it simply makes me thing of Far Cry 3. That is not an entirely bad thing. I loved playing through FC3 and occasionally go bag to it for some wingsuit themed death.
That being said, the Himalayas is a great choice. The verticality that will be available to the player should be superb. It seems like they are seizing on the success and love of Vaas from FC3 which is great because... oh my god. Greatest villain ever. Fact.
