Naughty Dog Working on Two New Projects
I will admit it right here and right now. I am a Naughty Dog fanboy and will generally buy anything that they have to offer. There is a reason for this, they consistently put out amazing games. For my money The Last of Us and Uncharted 2 have campaigns that can rival any other game.
Neil Druckmann had an interview with edge in which he discussed the companies plans for moving forward. He discussed the port of The Last of Us to PS4 and said: "We're working on this re-release, but at the same time we are working on two other brand-new experiences,".
Right now we know that they are working on Uncharted 4, which doesn't have a name yet. Hopefully we will get to see that next month at E3. As for what the other two games are, I have no idea at this point. Perhaps it will be another Jak and Daxter game or a sequel to The Last of Us... or perhaps an altogether new IP.
Naughty Dog seem to know when to call it quits with a franchise and this leads me to believe that they will not do another The Last of Us unless the story is unbelievably good and they can top the gameplay of the first. Not an easy task.
Whatever the other mystery game is that they are working on I have confidence that it will be pretty good... but if we remember Marc's key steps to gaming success
1) Never pre-order a game.
Naughty Dog is literally Jesus in my eyes, but even the big man can have an off day.
