Watch_Dogs Gameplay and Map Size

We have got some more footage from Watch_Dogs. It highlights one of my main concerns with the game...the driving.

When you have an open word game it is very important that the driving is done in a way that is not too realistic but there is at least some semblance of the real world in there somewhere. As much as I rant and rave about GTA:V, that is something that they did get right. When you drive in that game you feel like you will be punished unless you are taking corners correctly and you will get messed up pretty bad if you hit oncoming traffic.

With watchdogs this really isn't what is going on.  The driving looks 'floaty', that is to say that it doesn't look like you are gripping the road. Also it seems like you can crash into pretty much anything with little to no consequence. If you check out 1:24 you will see a concrete road divider get smashed into hundreds of pieces because a sports car touched it. I'm no civil engineer, nor do I know a lot about the make up of cars but I am pretty sure that is not how it would go down.

This isn't really a whole issue, different people like different things, it's just that this isn't for me. Something that is an issue though is pop-in.  Look at that video, there are virtually no pedestrians and cars are just appearing out of nowhere.

I want to reserve judgement until I get my hands on this game but I must say that right now I am feeling a little concerned with how it is turning out.
